My goal to give people a better life: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that her only aim is to give a better life to the people and build a prosperous Bangladesh with poverty and hunger free.

 The Prime Minister said in an interview given to the state-run English language channel CTGN.  The interview published during the visit of China to CTGN on their YouTube channel on Friday.

 In the interview, the Prime Minister also urged to increase communication between the neighboring countries for setting up an economic corridor.  He appreciated China's unprecedented development during this period, said Sheikh Hasina said there are many things to learn from China.

 Describing the pain of losing almost all the family members in the interview of CTGN in 1975, Sheikh Hasina said she came back after spending 6 years in exile for working in the country's development.  He wanted to fulfill his father's dream.

 Sheikh Hasina said, "Whenever I thought of what my father wanted to do, I read his diary.  That's my inspiration

 My father always thought about the people.  Because they were very poor.  90 percent of the country was poor.  For this people, parents have devoted themselves.  He knew the sufferings of the people.

 CTGN journalist told the Prime Minister that you are a very popular and powerful women in Bangladesh.  In response to this, the Prime Minister said, I feel that I should serve the people to me.  Of course people love me.  You know I lost my family without my sister.  But the people are my real family.  They are my Aponjon.

 The Prime Minister said, we are working on how to increase further cooperation with China and neighboring other countries.  Actually, China is working closely with us.

 Many Chinese companies are working with us to implement our development projects.  He said Bangladesh, China, India, Myanmar have signed an agreement.

 Which is called, the BCIN Economic Corridor  He hopes that this agreement will unveil new doors for trade and investment.

 In the interview, the Prime Minister praised China's economic development.  The Prime Minister said, I am very satisfied.  This is a different kind of satisfaction that my neighbor is making enough progress.  We can learn from China and work together.

 She said that the annual conference of the World Economic Forum has been highly rewarding with the participation of different business groups.

 He said that representatives of business groups from different parts of the world have participated here.  They have shared various business plans among themselves.
